「LUMIE玉造」 is run by a couple who have spent the last decade walking through galleries together — from Kyoto to Tokyo, Shanghai to Hong Kong. We opened this house to share the version of Osaka we love: quiet streets, the slow turn of seasons by the castle moat, and a room where you can take your shoes off and feel at home. 「LUMIE玉造」は、十年以上にわたり美術館や展覧会を一緒に巡ってきた夫婦が運営しています。京都、東京、上海、香港。いろいろな街でアートに触れてきました。私たちが愛するもう一つの大阪——静かな路地、お堀のそばで移ろう四季、靴を脱いでくつろげる和室。お客様にも感じていただきたく、この宿を始めました。

We are LUMIE LLC (ルミエ合同会社), a licensed company based in Osaka. In addition to hospitality, we hold an antique dealer's license and are slowly building a second venture around traditional Japanese woodblock prints — but more on that another time. 大阪に本社を置くルミエ合同会社が運営しています。宿泊業のほか、古物商許可も保有し、日本の伝統木版画を扱う第二の事業も少しずつ準備中です——詳しくはまた別の機会に。
